18 July,2009 was the Bon Odori Dance Festival in Malaysia. This Bon Odori is a japanese tradisional festival,and all of the people will make a circle and dance together. I have been participated in this festival for 2 years,last year and this year.
That day,i arrived at school about 4 something and gathered with the other friends at the tapak perhimpunan. Suddenly, i saw our disiplin teacher standing at the floyer and looking at us. Omg~~~~my friends were playing with their handphone and my hair,socks..........Oh ya, that time is Saturday,so nevermine la!! ^^ But dun noe y still felt panik and finally we decided to go away from floyer.........haiz......
Around 5 ,we all started our journey by bus. In the bus, i sit with my friend, Alicia. She was so excited and played around with the seat after we started the journey for a while.Up,down,up,down( non stop).........swt right.......Later, we also took many photo in the bus because that time was boring......
When we arrived at the destination, teacher gave us a Bon Odori special T-shirt each and ask us to change into it quickly because the festival was going to start! But,the shirt was soooo big size,XL!!! So uncomfortable............
Finally the festival started!! :) But b4 that, we took some photo with the japanese guyz and girlz. They r so leng zai n leng lui with their japanese tradisional costum. I hope to has my own 'yukata' (tradisional custom) when i grow up!!!
We made a circle around the stage and started to dance when the music was played. The dances including:-
1) Dai Tokyo Ondo
2) Hanagasa Ondo
3) Tokyo Ondo
4) Ohisama Ondo
I like the 'Hanagasa Ondo' the most because it is so graceful!!^^ The Bon Odori was seperated in 3 parts,between that we will have a break because we couldn't dance for so long time de right? Hahax.....N every part some students will be choosed to dance at the stage with the japanese guyz n girlz. For our school,1st part was Alicia n Hong Fatt,2nd part was 2 form 5 girlz n 3rd part was me!!! Happy~~~~
During the break,me n alicia went to the food stall and had a look. After discussing, we decided to buy a type of ice-blended la,in chocolate flavored de. It was so tasty but also very cold!! We ate it very rush because we had not much time to rest.......
About nine stg,the festival was ended......After taking some photo, we left the place and started to find our bus. But,the bus parked very very far away,although i was very tired but what to do? Haiz......After some times, we found our bus finally!!! In the bus, i still having fun by playing games with my friendz,alicia,pei jean,yu ning,yong hui...........
At 11 stg,i reached school and said goodbye 2 my friendz be4 i went bac home.........This was a happay day~~~~~ ^^
